Hold on to your useful
load when dining at Carolyn Skaggs house! Carolyn and her husband, Bruce, hosted a 99s breakfast Saturday morning on February
23rd and were the fixin's ever delicious. Carolyn prepared a scrumptous breakfast with THE BEST French Toast and Apples
- Mmny of us went back for seconds on that - along with fruit salad, eggs and more. In all, 4 plane loads and many more
car loads of 99s joined in the party. Many Thanks, Carolyn, for a great Saturday morning.
...and speaking of parties,
we just got in the photos from the Holiday gathering at Becky's house. We had pot luck dishes of all kinds, lively spirits
and Santa even made an appearance to hand out gifts.

February 2008 News
Wow! Lots has happened in the past month or so. Nancy Moore organized tours of the RSW tower , TRACON and Fire-Rescue during January. The tour of the tower was very interesting; we saw the targets as ATC sees us; got
a great view from the tower and learned about the "other half" of our aviation partnership to give us a much better
appreciation of partners in flight.
For the Fire Rescue tour, we got to see how fast a fireman can put on his gear (90 seconds is allowed), tour the whole
station house, and best of all - go for a ride in a crash truck with the operator demonstrating most of it's features.
It was a really great tour.
On February 9th, Jessica made the trek to LaBelle to do the honors of the drawing for the Top 10 race numbers for the 2008 Air Race Classic.
Other racers from the local area, Tamra Sheffman, Jo Alcorn and Terry Carbonell plus other spectators were on hand to witness
the drawing. We enjoyed refreshments, including half moon cookies from HOLLAND FARMS BAKERY, and some hanger
flying after the drawing.
Nancy Moore was our recipient for the Chapter vase for the month
of February. She was awarded the vase for her outstand work and organization of the RSW tours. Great job, Nancy!
